#1. Planet Bee Foundation
The Green Bee Foundation wants to ensure that the next generation is a green-minded generation. They work with schools, summer camps, non-profit organizations and businesses and organize educational workshops on location, to inspire children to get away from their screens, go outside and take action. The Green Bee Foundation makes children (and adults!) aware of the struggles of the honey bee, but also of other global environmental issues. Children will determine to future of our planet!

#2. We are Macmillan
Macmillan is a remarkable organization that helps people who are diagnosed with cancer to find their way through. It doesn’t matter whether cancer patients just need someone to listen if they just want to talk, or need expert advice about work and money during their treatment; Macmillan is an incredible source of support for the people that need them.

#3. Puppies Behind Bars
Puppies Behind Bars is an incredible organization that trains prison inmates to raise service dogs for wounded war veterans and first responders, as well as dogs to detect explosives for law enforcement. The puppies enter the prison when they are eight weeks old, and live with their inmate guardians for about two years. As the puppies mature into loving, well-behaved dogs, the inmates learn what it means to contribute to society instead of taking from it. It’s a two-way street: the dogs give their raisers a sense of pride and hope, and eventually, independence and security to the people they end up with.

#4. Make a Wish Foundation
The Make a Wish Foundation was founded in 1980, when a group of volunteers helped a young boy to fulfil his dream of becoming a police officer. From that moment, the people at the foundation have dedicated their lives to make the dreams and wishes for children with critical illnesses come true. A wonderful organization that evokes hope and joy for the kids that need it the most.

#5. Alex’ Lemonade Stand
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was inspired by Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who held her first lemonade stand at only four years old. Her mission was to find cures for all kids battling cancer. Now, the foundation has dedicated itself to raising funds for research into new treatments and cures for children with cancer. It’s amazing what one little girl can achieve!
